Water Falling

Taking a photograph of water hitting a creek, river, or lake has been something I have wanted to achieve in my photography experience. This picture makes me proud because I was able to finish my goal. This photo was taken on a film camera so it was developed in the darkroom. I only did dodging a burning in Photoshop instead of in the darkroom. The dominate area in this photograph, or center of interest, is the water falling, which contains the rule of thirds and a triangle where the water is starting to drip, attracting the viewer’s eye. This area shows movement with the water falling. There is a good balance in this picture with both sides of the water stream being surrounded by leaves and rocks.  I’m very pleased with my final product.
