Music and photography go together by them both being a
Fine Art. They are both things I have always loved and being able to combine
them was very special for me. This
photo was taken with a digital camera and edited in Photoshop to make it black and
white. The original photo had very bland, boring colors but turning it into
black and white made the photograph look more appealing and allowed the viewer to concentrate on the subject. The center of interest
is the mouth piece of the saxophone. It is focused and close to the camera,
drawing the viewers eye. The photo is well balanced, with a blank
wall on either side of the subject, not allowing distractions. This photograph is important to me because it reminds
me of the time when I played saxophone in my middle school band.
